The State Department of Education shall prescribe criteria for the evaluation of the effectiveness of each school district participating in the program. The evaluation shall include the assessment of elementary school pupils in grades 3 to 6, inclusive, in participating elementary schools prior to and following the establishment of elementary school physical education programs under the program, based upon the results of the Physical Best Fitness Performance Test.
