  • The guardian or conservator of the estate of any person who is confined in a state mental hospital may, from time to time, pay to the state mental hospital moneys out of the estate to be used for the future personal needs of the mentally disordered person while in a state mental hospital and for burial expenses, such sums so paid to be credited to the patient's personal deposit account, subject to the provision relating to the deposit of funds in the patients' personal deposit fund.
