  • Upon an order by the court that a person be examined, the court shall appoint two physicians to examine the person to determine whether the person is addicted to narcotics or in imminent danger of becoming addicted thereto.

    A written report of the examination by the physicians shall be delivered to the court, and if the report is to the effect that the person is not addicted nor in imminent danger of addiction, it shall order the petition dismissed.
