Article 1 (commencing with Section 26700) and Article 2 (commencing with Section 26800) do not apply to the sale, delivery, or transfer of firearms if all of the following conditions are satisfied:
(a) The firearms are unloaded.
(b) The firearms are not handguns.
(c) The sale, delivery, or transfer is made by a dealer to another dealer, upon proof of compliance with the requirements of Section 27555.
(d) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2014, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted statute, that is enacted before January 1, 2014, deletes or extends that date.
(Amended by Stats. 2011, Ch. 745, Sec. 21. Effective January 1, 2012. Repealed as of January 1, 2014, by its own provisions.)
