Latest version.
  • If any licensee fails to remit the proper amount of worker contributions required by Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 901) of Part 1 of Division 1 of the Unemployment Insurance Code, or the Employment Development Department has made an assessment for such unpaid worker contributions against the licensee that is final, the Labor Commissioner shall, upon written notice by the Employment Development Department, refuse to issue or renew the license of such licensee until such licensee has fully paid the amount of delinquency for such unpaid worker contributions.
