  • The actual costs and expenses incurred by the department in reviewing requests for accreditation or certification, trusts, and subsequent amendments established or maintained pursuant to Sections 922.1 to 922.7, inclusive, and subsequent reviews, shall be charged to and collected from the requesting reinsurer. If the reinsurer fails to pay the actual costs and expenses promptly when due, then the commissioner may deny the requests, may refuse to allow credit for reinsurance ceded to that reinsurer or group, or may revoke the reinsurer's accreditation or certification.
