The emergency rescue personnel, responding to the reported release or threatened release of an acutely hazardous material or to any fire or explosion involving a material that involves a release that would be required to be reported pursuant to Section 25507, shall immediately advise the superintendent of the school district having jurisdiction, where the location of the release or threatened release is within one-half mile of a school.
