The department shall confer and cooperate with other state agencies whose responsibilities include alleviating the problems related to inappropriate alcohol use and other drug use in order to maximize the state's effectiveness and limited resources in these efforts. These agencies shall include, but are not limited to, the Departments of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Corrections and Rehabilitation, Industrial Relations, Motor Vehicles, and Rehabilitation, the State Departments of Developmental Services, Education, Public Health, and Social Services, the Employment Development Department, and the Office of Traffic Safety.
