(a) The Superintendent of Public Instruction shall annually report to the Legislature regarding the use of funds pursuant to this article.

(b) As a condition of receipt of funds pursuant to this article, local education agencies shall provide information for the purpose of compiling the annual report required pursuant to subdivision (a) to the Superintendent of Public Instruction, in a format determined by the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
