In each fiscal year, beginning with fiscal year 1979–80, for tuition for students attending schools in adjoining states, the Superintendent of Public Instruction shall apportion an amount to each county superintendent sufficient to pay the amounts required or allowed to be paid pursuant to Sections 2002 to 2006, inclusive.
