The governing board of any school district may contract with the county superintendent of schools having jurisdiction over the district, with the state, any political subdivision, or any agency of the state or of any political subdivision, for the rendering to the schools of the district of any service authorized by this article, and may pay for the service out of any funds of the district.

All funds paid by a school district to a county superintendent of schools for services rendered to the schools of the district shall be deposited in the county school service fund.
