Any officer or member of the board of directors, board of trustees, executive committee, or other similar governing body of a subversive organization who violates any provision of this title, or permits or acquiesces in the violation of any provision of this title by the organization is guilty of a felony punishable by fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170 of the Penal Code, or by both that fine and imprisonment.
